Harpans Redovisning

"I tested the free version and it felt pretty easy and fast, no fuss. You do want to make it easy for yourself. And it's a good thing that you get a notice directly when the recipient has downloaded the content. I’ve often been sending reports to newspapers, various presentations and similar things, always using Sprend.”

Jonas Wahlström, Vasakronan

"Anything that facilitates, and makes my workflow easier, so that I can spend more time with the customer, it helps, and that's where Sprend comes in. To ""sprend"" a file has even become a verb. And that’s what my customers and I tell each other: we’ll sprend it.”

Olle Karlsson, OPTV

“Thank you very much. Was really taken by such kindness and having the opportunity to get in touch without a lot of problems ... Getting in touch with someone who will talk to you without any gain is not common.”

How does Sprend handle customer feedback?

We actively listen to customer feedback and improve our service based on user suggestions and technical needs.

How does the Sprend platform operate?

Users upload their file(s) via our service on sprend.com. Our service generates a secure download link. This link can be shared with recipients, who can download the file(s) to their devices. Recipents are not required to have an account with Sprend.

Is it possible to recover a file after it has been deleted?

Once a file is automatically or manually deleted from our servers, it cannot be recovered due to our strict security and data-retention protocols.

Is Sprend GDPR compliant?

Yes, Sprend operates in full compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). We are the data controller for all data processed through our service. We have established data processing agreements with all our sub-processors and maintain strict data protection protocols. Our external Data Protection Officer (DPO) is provided by Feralis d.o.o., a firm specialised in GDPR compliance. For more information about our data processors, please see our Data Processors page.

My file cannot be uploaded. What should I do?

Please get in touch with our support team, by phone at +46 10 129 29 10, or by email at support@sprend.com.

What happens if the recipient does not download the file?

If the file has not been downloaded within the set storage period, it is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers.

What happens to my files after sending?

Files are delivered and then deleted according to our retention policy. We cannot retrieve files once they expire.

What security measures are implemented by Sprend?

Sprend prioritises the confidentiality and integrity of your data through advanced security protocols. We ensure all files stored on our servers are protected against unauthorised access. Furthermore, file transfers are secured using TLS (Transport Layer Security)—the same protocol trusted by financial institutions—guaranteeing data security during transit. Pro plan users can also enhance security with unique, expiring download links and password-based protection. Pro plan subscribers have access to AES-256 encryption at rest. Our service is built upon rigorous, privacy-first principles.

Where is data stored?

All data is stored in our secure data centre in Sweden, operated by GleSYS AB. Our servers are located in Stockholm, ensuring that your data remains within the European Economic Area and subject to EU data protection laws.
